Trail Overview

Hunt Creek East is a motorcycle-only single track that sports a wide variety of terrain. This section of trail has rocks (from softball-size to a few feet in diameter), tight single-track hill climbs, black dirt, sand, and more than likely a few logs to cross. Although this trail is maintained by The Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan, it is prone to have quick growth plants seemingly choking the trail. The most challenging section of this section is the 9 miles between the two Boiling Springs Road crossings on the northeast spur of the trail.

Difficulty

This section of Hunt Creek has significantly more rocks and elevation change than its twin Hunt Creek West - MCCCT. Expect rocks, roots, hills, sand, and trees.

Trail cleared and open. Some ride-around spots where damage was extensive or contained dangerous hanging trees. They should be well marked and/or easy to follow. Apologies for not updating sooner.

Still a fair amount of downed trees with pink marker slips to guide you around and back onto the trail. It is definitely rideable but very covered in leaves and tree limbs. We hit it clockwise and it seemed counter clockwise would be preferred for those who like a challenge.
