Trail Overview

The Hartwick Pines to CR 612 Pipeline 4x4 Trail is a challenging but rewarding off-road experience located in Crawford County, Michigan. The trail is approximately 5 miles long and features a variety of terrain, including sandy washes, small hills, and a large sand pit at the end. You will also pass the Grayling weather station at the beginning of the trail. The trail is perfect for experienced and inexperienced 4x4 drivers alike who are looking for a challenge.

The sand pit can become a sand trap if you are not careful. The trail can get pretty rutted out after heavy rain.

the fall colors are beautiful currently. This trail is not super overgrown but will need a maintenance trim soon.
