Trail Overview
Grass Lake Dam Part 1 is a good dirt road and after a short distance, you will run into Grass Lake State Forest Campground. The dirt road follows the Betsie River with some amazing scenery. Camp sites are set in tree-lined woods. They are equipped with a fire pit and a picnic table. Most offer a charcoal iron grill. No power hookups. Old-style water pump available for use.
