Grand Traverse North Spur

The North Spur is a straightforward extension of the North Loop, featuring mostly small, manageable whoops and a relatively open trail. While the ride is generally mellow, be prepared for the occasional surprise in the form of a massive whoop--these tend to appear unexpectedly and can vary depending on recent grooming. The trail has a few small exposed roots, as well as minimal elevation change, making it a smooth and accessible option for most riders.
