Trail Overview

This ORV Route runs north and south and connects you between a road that comes out of the town of Mio and south to the local trail system. Due to this being a "connector" trail, it is a heavily trafficked Trail. Use caution and slow speeds. The trail width maintains 1 to 2 cars the entire way. The terrain is a mix of soft sand, small stones, and some pockets of sandy mud. Drivers will find that much of the trail has washboarding and moguls. There are also a few small to medium-sized clearings along this route. This trail is part of the groomed snowmobile route (LP 967) in winter. Wheeled vehicles should avoid this trail during the winter months. See the DNR Where to Ride website for specific closing dates.
