FS 4079

If you're looking for a peaceful trail through nature, this one is for you. The terrain is flat and hard-packed sand and dirt mixed. Drivers will not experience many mud holes, rutting, washboarding, or elevation changes along this route. The trail is maintained wide enough for a full-size vehicle but seems to be frequented by a local side-by-side. Look for deer and wild turkey as well as a variety of wild flowers and many species of trees. This route is accessible by any licensed vehicle as it runs between McKinley and FS 4568.
