FS 1407

This sandy two track in the Huron Manistee National Forest is a fun trail to drive. The trail was 1-1.5 vehicles wide, and the vegetation is cut back nicely. There was one area where the terrain turned to dirt and is prone to being muddy if the weather has been wet. This trail is part of the groomed snowmobile trail system in the winter and may be closed to wheeled traffic. See the Michigan Where to Ride website for closure datss.
