Trail Overview

This is an out-and-back trail that has a loop towards the end of it. The trail is tight in areas with some pinstripping. Once you get to the loop section, the trail becomes very muddy with several water/mud holes, and some of them can get very deep! The namesake of the trail comes from the many frogs you will encounter on this trail, as they are abundant, especially in the warmer months. Have a winch or a second vehicle with you while attempting this trail.

Difficulty

The trail is challenging due to deep mud holes that are often off-camber and lack a solid bottom, making navigation difficult.

Our JL is built on 37’s and we got stuck, this is the only place on the whole island we got stuck. I was able to get out of it eventually but beware this trail is not easy especially after my ruts in the back corner hole. We had 4 jeeps with us and the XJ on 33’s had to be winched out of another spot (take the bypass by the rear hole) if you have smaller tires.
