Trail Overview

This out-and-back trail through the northern MI forest is a bumpy two-track that ends in an area with several small clearings, making a great camping location. Depending on the time of year or recent rain, you could encounter a few wet and/or muddy spots to deal with, but nothing a stock 4x4 can't handle. At times, the trail can be hard to follow due to the amount of ferns that make up the forest floor in the wider sections. The trail is wide enough in most areas to allow passing oncoming traffic without too much difficulty. There is an additional spur that can be explored as well.
