Trail Overview

Much of this route is considered a normal dirt road accessible by non-4WD vehicles. However, at the end of this route and a bit before the end, there are 2 different hill climbs, one high enough to see over the tops of trees and another directly in the trees! Both hill climbs should be checked on foot before proceeding with a vehicle. There may be mud, rutted areas, and sand on this path.

Difficulty

These 2 hill climbs are muddy and sandy, and will change based upon the weather in the area during the time visiting. You risk body damage from trees and rocks if you're not careful. Mud holes are also potentially deep and deceiving until you are in them and need help out.

The trail looks nothing like it used to. Heavy foresting is taking place and all the large mature trees are gone. Just stumps and rutted out trails from the forest equipment.

Ice accumulates 2-3 inches on the trail. You can even safely walk on the side of frozen lakes. We built a tiny snowman along the trail. If you see it, say Hi :)

The Southern hill, that is the short up and down, was open. The taller hill at the Northside of the route, was also accessible, as the stump at the top on the Southside of the hill was ground down. Driving up the hill from the North, there is sand at the top that made the hill more challenging. On the Southside of the hill, there are signs prohibiting motorized vehicle use.

There is logging being done along this trail. You can get about half way before there were large trees/logs blocking the trail

The hill climb at the end of the trail was impassable for me I did not have enough clearance or big enough tires for the huge washout but this is just a side trail hill climb that has a turnaround at the top. it's not actually the main trail
