Trail Overview

Betsie Valley Bypass/391 starts out as a single-lane trail that doubles as a snowmobile trail. The trail is mostly sand and dirt. Conditions could change during rainy weather. Trees close to the edge of the trail make it feel like you are traveling through a tunnel. The trail is somewhat narrow in some spots. This trail is managed by the Traverse City Forest Management Unit. The trail was great for a spring ride but with the canopy, I could see this being an amazing ride in the fall.
