Alpina State Road

If you're looking for a peaceful nature drive this route will be for you. This track is a relaxing drive as you wind along this sandy/gravel northern Michigan road. There are many offshoot trails along the way, with a couple leading to campsites along the water. You can expect to see other mixed traffic such as on this route such as motorcycles, ATVs, and Side by Sides. Portions of this trail become a snowmobile route in the winter, so be sure to check for seasonal closings.
