Trail Overview

Surrounded by wetlands on all sides, Amos Case Road is an old through route connecting Otis-Tolland Road to Blandford Road. The trail begins at the intersection of Otis-Tolland Road and Curtis Hall Road and travels south. This is an out-and-back route as the road is now washed out and covered by wetlands. Sections of the trail are extremely washed out. Trail does descend towards a small pond where remnants of a man-made dam can be found. Ensure to stay on the trail, as all surrounding land is part of the Springfield Watershed.

Being from out of town and being greeted by a large water obstacle I did trail on the way down in 4wd, coming across multiple water obstacles and logs to drive over. Trail is tight and will cause pin stripping. Upon reaching the end of the trail, it becomes heavily over grown and appears to cross a small pond. So I turned around and did the trail in 2wd (except for crossing over the logs). Aside from the logs that could easily be moved if someone had a chainsaw, this rates at 3 for the puddles and a 2 else where. Nothing hard and nothing special. There is an off chute that I attempted but after a very tight water crossing assumed was a SXS trail and spun around.
