Trail Overview

The lower section of Up North Road is the crown jewel of this trail network. Spanning nearly six miles, this route showcases the incredible diversity of the surrounding landscape and offers a perfect sampling of every environment you will encounter in the area. The highlight of the trail is a picturesque covered bridge, which was constructed by the local ATV club. You will be popping on and off the multi-use road in sections, so be aware of other people enjoying the area in passenger vehicles.

Difficulty

This trail presents variable terrain. It features steep inclines, narrow passages, and sections characterized by deep ruts, mud, and rocky obstacles. 4WD is highly recommended, particularly for the steeper sections, to maintain vehicle control and help preserve the integrity of the trail surface.
