Trail Overview

Granite rock face. Very steep up and down with a few off-camber angles with a few in excess of 27 degrees over some ledges. Amazing views on both sides of the trail going up and past the antenna towers overlooking Phillips Lake up to Bangor.

Steep grades, for long periods. rock can be slippery when wet. Low range not needed but recommended.

A couple hikers at the top, totally empty otherwise. Great view! Was able to do this in a stock 2014 Nissan Frontier longbed (non-pro 4X), albeit with some minor trail damage. Actual off-road oriented vehicle made it very easy, and less stressful.

Trail was in good shape. It was my first time trying a trail like this and the only thing that was tricky was the ledge half way. No huge issue getting past it though. Really fun quick trail.

Fun ride, good for beginners and experienced alike. Shelf half way up puts you at 27 or 28 degrees of incline. Great views from the top!

rock 90% of the way up, few spots where a extra set of eyes could help but definitely can be manageable solo. stayed in 4hi the whole way had no issues
