Trail Overview

This trail has beautiful side walls that go up to 20 feet on some parts. There is a bridge at the halfway mark that crosses Waubonsie Creek. On the other side of the bridge, the trail goes to an incline at a steep angle that, if muddy, you will need 4WD.

Deep ruts in some parts from the rain. There’s also a fallen tree that is easy to get around/over.

No rain in the past week and yet this trail was still pretty slick with the steep grade. It wasn’t much to gawk at but could definitely tell it could get hairy with some recent rain. There’s a little field that is right past the bridge. Seems like people pull off and camp there but couldn’t tell via the maps if it was permissible or not. That little area does have a short technical trail right off of it as well.

Went while bone dry. Some rust to navigate. Very cool views and a bridge. Would be very difficult after heavy rain.

Deep ruts to look out for, potential to get beached if your vehicle doesn’t have enough clearance. High chances of severe mud and low traction if you’re caught by the weather. Short trail, no real views or overlooks.
