Trail Overview

This is the outer most trail at Nicholson Ford OHV park. It is bordered by our perimeter fence, the Iowa River, and Linn Creek. It will have the best views from the park. It is a fairly flat trail but you will encounter drainage ditches that are passable by all accepted machines. (up to 65" SXS) Most muddy spots will have a potential bypass. There is always two-way traffic on this trail, usually plenty of room to pass each other safely.

Difficulty

There are often ruts on this trail due to frequent SXS use. Near the river, the soil gets sandy allowing it to retain water better than other areas of the park. The main obstacles are drainage ditches, one along Linn Creek, and one along the river.
