Trail Overview

This is an easy north-south or south-north route via dirt through the area. It provides access to many of the trails in the area. Some dispersed camping can be found along these trails. Generally, this heavily trafficked two-lane trail is a well-graded track used by cattle ranchers. Be sure to close any gates you come across and be aware of ranching traffic in the area. It may be impassable in the winter or when wet. There are 2 bars of LTE service in and out in the area.

Great trail for the Gambler Camry. We travelled northwards on the trail and enjoyed all of it. The only difficult parts of the trail were 4 or 5 silt beds about 10-12" deep with dust. I bet they make great mud boggs when it gets wet. 18psi and lots of skinny pedal in the Camry got us through. It probably wouldn't be a problem in a bigger vehicle, but that's why we take the Camry. We made a friend, Jiminy, who rode the windshield for about 45minutes. He decided the silt beds were too much for him and bailed during the last one. Thanks for the memories, Jiminy!
