Trail Overview

Pelke Ridge (FS 1094) is a 6.3-mile point-to-point route through Kaniksu National Forest. The road follows Pelke Ridge with several narrow shelf-road sections and some brush encroachment along the way. Several sections have deep holes that can fill with mud and water after rain. On the eastern side, the road makes a rocky descent with loose and uneven terrain. Pelke Ridge is open to all vehicles.

Difficulty

Pelke Ridge (FS 1094) is rated moderate. Deep holes, muddy conditions, narrow shelf-road sections, and the rocky descent on the eastern side make the route more challenging than the surrounding maintained forest roads. Conditions may become significantly more difficult after heavy rain.
