Trail Overview

The Partridge Creek Trail is a 50-inch-wide trail that steadily climbs from the Partridge Creek campground and into the mountains towards Elk Butte. It has its share of windy corners, back-and-forth switchbacks, and climbs/drops as you work your way up the hill. Most of the trail is through shady timber, with some patches of sunlight. This is a fun, well-established trail.

Overall the trail is in great shape and fun as always. There is a lot of blowdown from the big windstorms we got over the winter. 90% cleared but there’s a few bigger trees that could use a big saw to clear further out of the trail. Lots of sticks and branches in some small areas. But again, overall, great trail as always.
