Trail Overview

This trail begins in a clearing with several trailheads. From South to North, it will take you up and over 2 major peaks in the Challis Range. The trail starts off along a wooded hillside and opens up to incredible views of the Challis Mountains. Be careful, as there can be snow across the trail well into mid-Summer. The trail then leads you into a high alpine basin before climbing up and over a second pass. North of this, the trail descends back into the woods before ending at Big Eightmile Road.
