Gardner Gulch

This trail starts near Baumgartner Campground and traverses the mountain in a burn scar. This is a great way to get to the top of the mountain, with spectacular views of the valley below. The scrub brush that is now growing makes the trail tight for the first half. The first half includes a lot of bench-cut trail. The second half of the trail opens up into faster and more flowing terrain.
