Trail Overview

Dinner Bucket Ridge is a 4.9-mile point-to-point gravel road that, when starting from the north, begins at ID3, winding its way through Clearwater National Forest land before ending at an intersection with Forks Rd. Dinner Bucket Ridge is a wide, smooth gravel road with many places to pass. Note that the photos start at the north end and head south. Dinner Bucket Ridge is open all year.

Dinner Bucket Ridge is an easy, smooth gravel road. 2 Wheel Drive vehicles will have no problem exploring the forest via this route. As with all trails in North Idaho, conditions can vary significantly with snowfall, and always bring a chainsaw or other equipment to clear fallen trees.
