Cold Springs ATV Loop #5208

Cold Springs ATV Loop #5208 is an easy 0.8-mile-long trail that starts at a marked entrance off Forest Service Road 50100, just off Slug Creek Road. The route begins in open sagebrush fields, where ruts occasionally fill in with loose rock. A short hill climb along the way features some rock and rutting on a steep slope, but the dirt isn't super loose, so you can maintain traction pretty good on the climb. The trail keeps meandering through the forested terrain with a faint grassy section toward the east end. It's a short and mellow route without any major challenges. The overall layout and surface make it a relaxed ride suitable for less experienced riders.
