Clifton Basin to Weston Peak ATV 7433 (Part 1)

This short ATV trail is part of the trail system in the Caribou National Forest near Preston, Idaho. It is a moderately challenging trail for ATVs and dirt bikes due to lots of small and big loose rocks in the trail, and several steep climbs with roots and ruts. The trail is pretty bumpy due to all the rocks. This ATV trail starts at the Clifton Basin Trailhead and ends at the intersection with ATV trail 7435. It starts with a shallow and easy creek crossing and goes along the rim of the mountain in a wide open meadow with amazing views out towards the town of Preston, Idaho. Then it goes into a tree section with many rocky hill climbs. It pops out of the trees before starting to head downhill and intersecting with ATV trail 7435. There is an additional section of 7433 that is designated dirt bike only that starts at this same intersection. There is a second segment of ATV trail 7433 that starts again after the single track, that steeply climbs up the face of the mountain to connect with the Old Baldy single track. This last segment is more difficult.
