Trail Overview

The Vilano Point Loop Trail is one of the rare beach access where you are actually able to drive up to the water. That makes it one of the most beautiful off-road areas in Florida. Please be aware of the tide before you enter the area. You can access the beach from Genoa Rd in Vilano Beach. It's a perfect area for swimming, walking on the beach, watching dolphins, or just enjoying the ride. 4x4 is required and high clearance is recommended. The sand can be very fine and deep. Unexperienced drivers get easily stuck. Only street-legal vehicles are permitted.

Difficulty

Watch the tide very closely as the tide levels change. The biggest difficulty here is deep sand and driving too close to the ocean so please watch the tide levels.
