Trail Overview

Trail 12 is a loop road that starts at Road 1 and takes you to the north-west end of the Three Lakes WMA. The road conditions are a mixture of packed sand, loose sand, and some areas at the west end that are flooded year-round. Expect water crossings that are several hundred feet long and up to three feet deep. The road is not always wide enough for two vehicles to pass. 4WD and high clearance are highly recommended. All vehicles must be street legal. Three Lakes WMA comprises more than 63,000 acres of southern Osceola County, 25 miles southeast of St. Cloud. A daily-use or recreational permit is required to enter the Water Management Area.

Dry and dusty. A few slightly off chamber parts. Nice drive, well maintained.

Important Note: If you can make it over the cattle gate and bridge washouts, you can make it through this trail. High clearance (at least leveled) and 33’s or better are required as the right side loop has quite a bit oh whoops that will high center a factory suspension/tire set up. Today was VERY DRY and this section road like it was 4/10 but this would rapidly change when wet.
