Trail Overview

This easy trail through the state forest is a mix of gravel and loose sand. During heavy rain, there are some mud puddles to splash in. Very easy drive. There is no dispersed camping along the trail, and the side roads have been closed due to restoration. This trail features a creepy pet cemetery.

Difficulty

This is a primarily smooth sand road, one vehicle wide. There may be mud or puddles after heavy rains.

Main road was mostly easy drive with off trail areas of deep rutted sand. A couple of muddy holes crossings.

Main road is open but all the side roads are closed. They’re working on restoration. Super easy, just an easy drive through the woods. Nothing worth noting to see. Minimal traffic, we saw two trucks and two mountain bikers.

All of the side roads are closed to vehicles. it is basically like riding on a dirt road, no obstacles or stuff worth seeing.

Super easy trail to spend a couple hours on. With rain, I could see it getting some really good mud.
