Locomotive

Locomotive Road is a wide, two-lane sandy trail with a bumpy surface that adds a bit of character to the drive. A handful of spur roads split off along the way, offering opportunities for exploration or finding a secluded camp. The route travels through classic Florida flatwoods, with tall pines and open underbrush. Conditions remain fairly stable year-round, though sections may soften during heavy rains. A good connector or mellow loop option in the area. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.
