Kraftfahrer Trail - FS 111

Krafaher is a long, single-lane sandy road that offers a unique ride through a different slice of Florida's wilderness. Remarkably dry even during the rainy season, the trail holds up well thanks to its sandy base, though it does cut through a swampy section that may become slick or soft in spots. Unlike the typical saw palmetto and pine-covered landscape found throughout much of the region, this trail winds through a distinct ecosystem--giving travelers a refreshing change of scenery. It's a peaceful, immersive drive with a subtle wild feel. Remember to pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.
