Expect heavy mud after rainfall. Rutted-out areas that require high-clearance 4x4 vehicles. Traction boards and potential for winching will be needed depending on previous rainfall. If coming from the West side of the trail entrance, it may seem casual at first; however, there is about a 100-foot-long water crossing at the end (or entrance if taking the trail from the East). Low range is required after heavy rainfall due to thick, clumping mud.
