Hampden Road

The trail started out very narrow on the CT side, but is doable with a full-size truck if you don’t mind having a few branches on your paint. Had to hop out and move a log off the trail. Water crossing seemed to be a little over a foot, maybe 1.5 feet deep. Saw a good number of places where one could pull off to let others by. Came across two others, one on a dirt bike and one in a Tacoma with what appeared to be 33’s. Pretty straight forward drive, water crossing could be more difficult depending on recent wet weather.

Loose rocky farm road. Fairly cleared back. Water crossing about 12” deep. There are larger obstacles in the water, 35s rolled over them but smaller vehicles may have issues.

Pretty straightforward trail. I turned around at the overflowed part of the pond since I was by myself and wasn’t sure how deep it was. Jeeps or other high clearance 4x4s could likely make it through but I don’t have a crazy amount of clearance and didn’t want to take the risk. Other than that this is pretty much an easy smooth dirt/gravel trail.

Fairly easy trail, is a 1 for the most part except for the water crossing which I’d give it a high 2 low 3 rating. My Jeep is a 2010 Sahara on 33’s and stock height! Enjoy the ride though!
