Trail Overview

Serving as an entrance to the Cockaponset State Forest trail system, Filley Road is a very straightforward dirt and gravel path. The road allows for a smooth cruising experience through the forest and offers additional access to more trails in the state forest.

Very simple and easy to drive dirt/gravel road. Proper throttle control for gravel is needed to avoid slippage in 2WD.

Nice dirt road through the woods. Passed a couple hikers and cyclists. There’s a little offshoot on the south end with a mud puddle, small vehicle beware of large rock in there.
