Trail Overview
Baker Road starts with a "1" rated car-friendly mixed gravel and paved section. It becomes a "2" rated two-track when it crosses Quaddick Town Farm Road. Most people enter the trail here to avoid houses. As it crosses Wakefield Pond Road it becomes "3" rated (4WD needed), uphill on loose and medium rocks and with a semi-exposed drainage pipe crossing. Wakefield Pond Road is a major access road into the Northwest Rhode Island Trail Network to the South, commonly via this trail to avoid a house to the North. As you leave Baker Road, bear left onto "1" rated gravel Cruff Road to return to the pavement.

Difficulty
A section of uphill loose and medium rocks requires 4WD and picking lines. This is a great trail to introduce newbies to the sport.
