Trail Overview
The Sarlacc is a fun and scenic single track in the North Fruita Desert. The trail is fast and flowy and mostly on smooth dirt on top of a rocky ridgeline overlooking the Fruita Valley. The trail is mostly south-facing, so could be drier than some of the other surrounding trails after rain or snow, or could be hotter in the summer. There are a few moderate rocky obstacles including rock pinches or ledges. This is a very fun trail in either direction with fantastic views the entire way. There is significant ledge exposure throughout most of the trail.
