Trail Overview

This is a single-vehicle-wide trail that runs along the northern Expansion Area through a flat sandy wash. No major obstacles to worry about, so have a good rip on the sand. A Green Sticker is required for OHV use, as well as a daily use fee payable at the park entrance. Tread Lightly and pack it out.

Difficulty

The trail consists primarily of dirt and shallow sand. The route is generally flat and straight, cutting across the northern section of the Expansion Area. It is single-vehicle-wide in most places, but does widen out in the middle section of the wash. Unless heavy rain has hit the area, the trail can be easily completed with 2WD and moderate clearance.
