Trail Overview
This route runs parallel to Highway 395, cutting through a few open sandy meadows while following the power lines. The trail climbs 144 feet and drops 392 feet over just over 5 miles, offering views of Mount Morrison, Sherwin Mountain, and Bloody Mountain throughout the journey. Used by snowmobile tours in the winter, this multi-season route provides access through varied Eastern Sierra terrain. From the north side, there is a downed tree with an illegal bypass already created.

Difficulty
The trail is full of washboards with lots of whoops, some deep, from heavy SXS use, creating a very bumpy ride. Although mostly very dusty and sandy, there are a few short rocky sections. Some deep ruts exist on corners. The trail is one to two vehicles wide. High clearance is needed and 4x4 is recommended.
