Trail Overview

This trail changes frequently, with loose rocks that may shift after each vehicle passes. Conditions vary based on traffic, weather, and vehicle setup, and travel time can range from extended recovery scenarios to a relatively quick run. This trail typically requires at least 40-inch tires for a smoother experience, while 37-inch tires are possible with reliable recovery support such as a winch or tow rope. Two exit points allow drivers to leave the trail early—one before the waterfall and another just beyond it near the large rock garden. This short but challenging route offers excitement comparable to easier Hammer trails, and it is also featured during the High Desert Roundup in June for those who prefer a guided experience. Summer temperatures can be high, so trip planning should account for heat.

Difficulty

Lots of loose rocks, big and small, that will get stuck under your pumpkins. One 8-foot waterfall, lots of boulders, and a couple of shelves to climb. There are a few off-camber lines as well. Smaller tires and lower clearance vehicles will have a difficult time getting through this trail.
