Obsidian Light - FS 42N03Y

This trail starts on Harris Mountain - FS 42N32 and ends at Powder Rap Lost Iron Well - FS 43N35, near Harris Springs Fire Station and Campground. It stays one vehicle wide, with a surface of dusty, loose dirt covered with pine needles and pine cones, cutting through a young and medium-aged forest within the Shasta National Forest. Some of the younger trees have very low branches, which could pose an issue for taller vehicles. Vegetation grows in the median in places, and piles of old branches and logs sit along the edges, so drivers should stay alert to avoid them.
