Trail Overview
Lower Cena Lar Trail is one of the most technical and challenging trails in this riding zone. It is considerably more rocky than the rest in the immediate area and also combines more vert and looser soil with it. This trail falls in the intermediate going towards advanced trail due to a few more technical areas. The north end (lower elevation end) is where the looser dirt and more technical rocky climb/descent is. It is long enough of a section that carrying momentum and line choice are paramount. The rocks are moderately sized, and some simply can't be ridden over. Watch out for the holes dug from tires spinning. After the rock section, the remainder of the trail continues to climb at a more gradual grade and narrows a bit. The soil stays loose. There are some tight turns, but overall, you can carry a decent flow and speed. Best to combine with Upper Cena Lar as an out-and-back.
