JV Landers Lookout

This ridge lookout offers arguably the best panoramic views of Landers and the vast Johnson Valley stretching out below. It’s a spectacular spot to kill the engine and just take in the desert landscape from a high vantage point. The trail follows the spine of the ridge, but be aware that it eventually ends at a downhill closure, so you'll need to turn back the way you came. It’s a must-see detour for the scenery alone, even if the full loop isn't currently an option.
