Indian Pass

Indian Pass is a smooth grated gravel road that becomes narrower and rougher the further East you travel with scattered rock gardens. This section is part of the California Backcountry Discovery Route with this out and back portion able to be traversed in 2wd. The road becomes rockier with a few washouts the further back you travel with many dispersed campsites along the first several miles of road. With a short wheelbase and high clearance 4wd, the road can be traversed further between Indian Pass Wilderness and Pichacho Peak Wilderness to Pichacho State Rec area along the Colorado River.
