Halfway Ridge Road - FS 3N22

This single-lane gravel road begins at the Butter Creek Road - FS 3N08 and connects through to Hyampom Road. There are some sections of dirt, but not much erosion damage. One section was recently scraped and could be a problem in wet weather. There were areas with quite a few loose rocks up to a foot high. The road starts in a mixed forest, but soon reaches a burned area. Many downed trees had been cut to clear the road, and more snags are likely to fall in this area. The road is initially wide enough to meet another vehicle safely, but it narrows as it descends more steeply.
