FS 9S109

This narrow dirt and gravel trail begins from a difficult-to-see highway pullout and winds through the surrounding hills. Tight trees appear in some sections, but pinstriping is avoidable with careful driving. The route offers more than 12 campsites with level ground, shade, and excellent mountain views, including a private three-vehicle site at 0.2 miles with a fire ring. Around 2.5 miles, expect a steep hill climb with rock gardens and 6–8 inch ledges. Overall, this is a scenic route with excellent camping and a few moderately challenging sections.
