Trail Overview

This fine-dirt trail begins with overgrown vegetation, 6–8-inch ruts, and scattered rocks and boulders. Several low-hanging branches are around 7 feet above the trail. Camping is plentiful throughout, with level, shaded campsites accommodating up to four vehicles each. Around 1 mile, the trail becomes noticeably rougher, with long sections reaching 10° off-camber and rock ledges and ruts reaching 12–14 inches. At least 14 inches of front-end clearance is recommended due to the washes and ruts. The fine dirt can become significantly more difficult when wet.
