Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail descends through the hillside with numerous pullouts available for passing. The road is well maintained, with ruts remaining under 3 inches deep and no significant obstacles. The loose surface can become more difficult when wet. The route travels through dense forest with frequent openings that provide scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Around 1.5 miles, a large, level campsite accommodates up to 20 vehicles or multiple fifth wheels and campers, with a fire ring and plenty of shade. Another private, level campsite accommodates up to four vehicles farther along the route.
