Trail Overview
This narrow trail begins directly off the main paved road and travels over fine, loose red dirt that can become considerably more difficult when wet. There is little room for vehicles to pass, with overgrown vegetation along the route, although pinstriping is generally avoidable. Around 0.4 miles, a large creek washout crosses the trail; staying to the left provides the best route around the damaged section. Around 0.2 miles, a large, level campsite on the left accommodates up to six vehicles and includes a fire pit. The route provides a short forest drive with convenient camping access close to the main paved road.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 2 because of the narrow terrain, loose red dirt, and a large creek washout around 0.4 miles. The remainder of the route has no significant obstacles under dry conditions.
