Trail Overview

This trail has a mix of deep ruts and rocks. Depending on which side you start on, you either climb or descend. I suggest starting from American Hill Road to go from West to East. That way, you’ll climb and end up at multiple large, dispersed sites with great views. However, wet weather will make this trail much more challenging due to the clay.

Difficulty

The trail is narrower, but a full-size vehicle will navigate it without touching anything. There are multiple washes and ledges. A stock 4WD should be sufficient with proper tire placement. However, if it’s wet, you might want to consider using better all-terrain or mud-terrain tires, as the trail becomes very slippery in some muddy sections.
