Easy trail. Just saw a jeep and Land Cruiser. Washboards and some washed out sections but nothing too bad. Was 2WD majority of time

The last storm seems to have caused washouts. Most are no problem one was somewhat difficult in a full size truck. Otherwise smooth sailing.

Up to Covington Trailhead this is a very easy road, after it the washouts increase in difficulty but nothing too crazy.

Dry hard pack. Nice turnaround at end of trail. Park there and walk down 75ft, on right is foot trail to a clearing with great 360 degree view.

Very easy trail with a very rewarding view at the top. There are some steep-ish grades and slightly off-camber sections that are both very short. This was my first trail in my ‘25 Outback Wilderness, and there wasn’t a single time when I even came close to wishing I had a more serious off road vehicle. All in all, a very fun and beautiful section of desert going through some Joshua trees and other foliage. Keep an eye out for wildlife, we saw a bobcat skulking through the brush!

Road currently in great condition. Easy drive with our 3rd gen RAV4. Only one spot that seemed like it could be challenging for a lower clearance crossover-type vehicle (in pics, keep to the right going up). Patchy washboard up to Lower Covington Flat. The most sandy stretch was up to the park boundary, and once in the park there wasn't much sand. A few rutted spots in places but the big ruts are easily avoidable. Road gets narrower past Lower Covington Flat. Watch for snakes in the road, we saw one. Upper Covington Flat Road is also in equally good condition.

Caught a beautiful sunrise. Took about 30 minutes to drive up the off-road trail-pretty easy overall, a little sandy but manageable, even a 2WD could probably do it. At the top, there's a short hiking trail that takes you the last few hundred feet to the peak. From there, you get an almost full 360-degree panoramic view. Totally worth it.

Easy trail, some washboard sections throughout. Seems 2wd friendly but some ground clearance comes in handy. Trail was fully dry. Little to no risk of pinstripes on your vehicle.

Easy, wide dirt road. Did have some good mud puddles though. Worth the quick trip to peak for the view.

Very easy trail, could be done in any 2WD Vehicle. It started to snow the higher I climbed. Great views from the top. I'll do this trail again at night in the summer.

Dirt road that is washboarded in places. Easy going. Might need higher clearance in some spots but this is doable in any AWD vehicle. The trail moves through a Joshua Tree forest and towards the top has both Joshua Trees, Junipers, and Pinyon Pines. Eureka peak greets you with beautiful views of the Coachella Valley, Mount San Jacinto, and Mount San Gorgonio.
