Trail Overview

Starting at Deadman Creek Rd and ending at Dry Creek Cutoff, this 2-mile route winds through a scenic pine forest on soft sand and pumice. The trail is mostly flat, with gentle elevation changes, and has been recently cleared for easier travel. Along the way, you’ll encounter a few small ruts, a short downhill with loose rocks, and a small rock garden that adds a bit of variety. This peaceful drive offers a mix of shaded forest and open spaces, making it a relaxing yet mildly technical ride.

Difficulty

This trail is relatively easy with mostly smooth sand and pumice surfaces, but small ruts, loose rock sections, and a short rocky downhill add mild challenges. Suitable for most high-clearance vehicles and drivers with basic off-road skills. 4x4 is recommended for extra traction on the rock garden and loose surfaces.
